中美友好城市大会成立于2014年，已举办六届，是中美地方交往的重要机制之一。1979年中美建立第一对友好城市关系，此后的45年间，两国已建立286对友好省州和友好城市，架起了理解与信任的桥梁，浇灌了人民友谊之树，为中美关系注入了不竭动力。本次中美友好城市大会是疫情过后首次在美国举办，希望明年再相聚，塔科马欢迎你们！

The China-US Friendship Cities Conference was founded in 2014 and has been held for six sessions. It is one of the important mechanisms for local exchanges between China and the United States. In 1979 China and the United States established the first pair of sister city relations. In the 45 years since then, the two countries have established 286 pairs of sister provinces, states, and cities, building a bridge of understanding and trust, watering the tree of people’s friendship, and injecting inexhaustible power into Sino-US relations. This China-US Friendship Cities Conference was the first held in the United States after the epidemic. I hope to meet again next year. Tacoma welcomes you!
